Abstract
Objective: In this study, the correlation between social perception and factors related to schizophrenia was systematically reviewed, and through meta-analysis, the correlation between each factor and social cognition and its size was identified.

Methods: Among the studies published for 10 years from 2011 to 2020, a study was selected that analyzed the correlation between social cognition and other factors for people with schizophrenia. PubMed, CINAHL (EbscoHost), PsycINFO, and Research Information Sharing Service (RISS) were used as databases. For English key terms, ¡®Schizophrenia OR Mental disorder OR Psychotic disorder¡¯ AND ¡®Social cognition OR Emotional perception OR Emotional processing OR Attribution OR Theory of mind OR Social perception¡¯ AND ¡®Correlation analysis¡¯ were used. Korean key terms were the same as English key terms.

Results: As a result of analyzing a total of 13 studies, education and socioeconomic status showed a medium-sized correlation in sociodemographic factors. Among psychiatric factors, treatment alliance had the greatest correlation, and significant correlation was found in negative/positive symptoms, and psychiatric symptoms. Psychosocial factors showed a large-sized correlation between social and occupational functions and social functions. Functional factors showed the greatest correlation with social cognition, and both neurocognition and IQ had a large-sized correlation.

Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it uses meta-analysis to identify the correlation between factors related to schizophrenia and social cognition, and it is expected that the results of this study will be used as a evidence for the application of social cognitive intervention for people with schizophrenia.
